1.  Every morning is an open door to a new world…new day, new opportunities, and new mercies.
Lamentations 3:22 It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because
his compassions fail not.
Lamentations 3:23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

3. Make the least of all that goes and the most of all that comes...relying
moment by moment on Jesus.
Philippians 4:11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
Philippians 4:12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound:
everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

4. Kindness is the one language which the deaf can hear and the blind can read.
II Peter 1:7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

5.  Encouraging and uplifting words are worth their weight in gold and cost
next to nothing to give.
Ephesians 4:29   Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

6.  Let the “Word of God” wash away from your mind the fear of facing another day or another year.
II Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

7.  The right word at the right time is like a custom-made piece of jewelry…and a wise friend’s timely reprimand is like a gold ring slipped on your finger.
Proverbs 25:11   A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.
Proverbs 25:12   As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.
