1.
A wise person doesn’t play the comparison game…are you being wise?

For we dare not make
ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend
themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing
themselves among themselves, are not wise.

Renounce your desire
for human praise and your neediness for public recognition!

through strife and vainglory: but in lowliness of mind let each esteem
others better than themselves.

God has given
you a gift for something… develop it and use it to help others!

hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good
stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Be wise about
good and simple concerning evil!

For your obedience is
come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I
would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.
6.
Jesus is the
only avenue or source through which we can reach the Father.
St. John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him,
I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man
cometh unto the Father , but by me.

others and God?
Psalm 90:9b
…we spend our years as a
tale that is told.
Psalm 90:12
So teach us
to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Psalm 90:17
And let the beauty of
the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon
us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
