1.  Live truth instead of just professing it!
James 1:22 - But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

2.  If we do what we can…God will do what we can’t!
Luke 1:37 - For with God nothing shall be impossible.

3.  Nothing has better effect upon others than praise.
Proverbs 12:25 - Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.

4.  We are all role models whether we want the job or not.
II Thessalonians 3:9 - Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an example unto you to follow us.

5. Nobody is exempt from times of trouble, suffering or facing stormy trials of life…but you can be confident that God will give you shelter in His pavilion and care tenderly for you.
Psalms 27:5 - For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

6.  Allow God to calm your anxious heart…restore your peace of mind…and give rest to your soul by leading you beside His still waters.
Psalms 23:2 - He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
Psalms 23:3a - He restoreth my soul

7.  It only takes making one bad choice to start you on a downward spiral and kill the godly influence your life once had.
Deuteronomy 30:19 - I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.
