1.
Rewarding people who do evil is not only wrong, but downright
dangerous.
Proverbs 17:13 Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from
his house.
2.
Outside looks can be deceiving!
Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance,
or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD
seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the
LORD looketh on the heart.
Proverbs 31:30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that
feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
3.
Before hitting the trail to improve someone else, it would
better profit us and others to start the campaign with our own self.
Matthew 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye;
and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's
eye.
4.
The key to failure is trying to please everyone… the key to
success is in living for an audience of One – God!
Colossians 3:22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to
the flesh; not with eye service, as men pleasers; but in singleness of
heart, fearing God:
Colossians 3:23, 24 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord,
and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of
the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
5.
Forgiveness isn’t only something God gives us… He designed it to be passed onto others.
Matthew 6:14, 15 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly
Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses,
neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
6.
Before you ask a friend to pray for you, be certain you share
your care or burden with your best friend, Jesus.
I Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
7.
Never forget your words are a vital part of your witness…What
are your words saying to those around you?
Colossians 4:6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt,
that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. |
