Moment Messages
September 7, 2005
I heard a song the other day entitled "Failure Isn't Final With The Father".
What a joy to know that the Lord understands and forgives our failings or sins, when we
acknowledge and confess them before him. Many of our lost battles today may be
preparing us to win the wars of tomorrow, if we will only let God mend and heal our
hurts and wounds. Failure isn't fatal unless it's final. Only when we refuse to seek
forgiveness and mercy do we bear the load of sin until it drains our spiritual resources.
We would all do well to memorize 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and
just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness,"
and then make application of it every time we sin along the path of life.
In Christ,
Bro. Donny
