Choices And Decisions
Greetings Everyone!
Did you know the decisions you make today may affect you tomorrow? Our
choices in life may seem small, yet often produce great
consequences. some choices are insignificant and some are not. Your
choice of which socks to wear today has no eternal impact. Yet if
someone choose to skip church today to engage in a self satisfying
activity, that choice could have a lasting impact on their life.
There was a deacon once who slipped off and went deer hunting one Sunday
and lied about his intentions. After all, no one would ever know about
it, he thought. At his funeral a few days later, the results of his
decision was evident. The hunting accident was not in his plans yet his
decision was
a costly one! We sow a thought and reap an act; we sow an act and reap a
habit; we sow a habit and reap a character; we sow a character and reap
a destiny. Our Heavenly Father wants to sift our choices and motives by
the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
Seek God's will in
the things you do each day. Honor Him with your life by letting the will
of God lead you in all of your paths. When we place God at the center of
our lives He will direct us with not only the right decisions, but the
best ones. Let Him be at the wheel for the best results.
In Christ,
Bro. Donny
