1. Some of our troubles come from us wanting to have our own way but other troubles come from us being allowed to actually have our own way!
Psalms 106:15   And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.

2. What you go after here determines where you will go in the hereafter!
Mark 8:36   For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 

3. Beware of the appeal of the forbidden! ..Don't keep one eye on the temptation while praying not to be led into it.
Ephesians 6:10   Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in power of his might.
Ephesians 6:11   Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 

4. The only way to take fear Out of living is to put faith In God!
Psalms 56:4   In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
Isaiah 41:10   Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 

5.  Returning good for good is commendable... returning good for evil is Christ-like.
1 John 3:18    My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
James 4:17   Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. 

6.  The devil doesn't care how much good we do, as long as we don't do it today!
Proverbs 27:1   Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

 7.  If you desire a field of service, all you have to do is look around you.
John 4:35    Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
