As a minister of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, I have been preaching God's Word since July 16, 1972. I received the Lord as my Savior on July 16, 1962 at Fairmont Missionary Baptist Church at the age of eight. I married my wife, Sheila Hudson from Hackleburg Alabama on July 28, 1975. We have not been blessed with any children.

God has led me to work in radio ministry. My burden has been to present a clear message of the gospel using this outreach.

WLPH Radio in Irondale for 5 years 1972 until 1977.

WDJC Radio in Birmingham for a year in 1978.

WPYK Radio in Sumiton for 4 years 1982 until 1986.

WURL Radio in Moody/Leeds for 5 years 1991 until 1996.

WDJC Radio in Birmingham since 1986 until November 2000.

We are on WXJC Radio now, which is the sister station for WDJC.

I have been serving as the founder and director of the Search the Word Broadcast Ministry.
The Search the Word Broadcast is a non-profit, tax deductible ministry organized in October 1988.

I've preached in over 370 revivals or crusades over the past 33 years of ministry. It has been my joy to see many people come to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ through these years.

My burden is for preaching and teaching the gospel message in order for souls to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. I desire to strengthen Christians to grow in wisdom, knowledge and understanding of God's word. My effort in preaching also addresses the needs for families to be united around the bonding of Biblical truth. It is my belief that preaching should deliver spiritual truth with love, conviction and compassion through a Christ-centered message relevant to our daily lives. My convictions are deeply founded in the beliefs of the Baptist faith and doctrine.

The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ
The Second Coming of Christ
